It’s mad that I used this shop everyday, one Sunday we were going to get the paper when one of the regular things happened at that junction, a car crash at 08:34 on a Sunday, but the guy who was driving his little yellow Suzuki Rhino, was none other than Gareth Robert Shaw, better known as Gary Shaw from the Villa. He needed to use a phone so me and my brother and Billy Millar walked him onto the Pershore Rd via the Breedon Bar car park. He used the phone box outside the cadets centre on the corner of Dell Rd. On the way back we played kick ups with the football and Billy did more than Gary, I still see Gary Shaw about and I always remind him of it… Memories…

Can you tell me more about this shop? I am researching my family tree, and believe this is the sweet shop that my great grandparents owned and ran. It is the right area and the description fits. If you could tell me more I’d be very happy!
